Smoking Tomatoes

Smoking Tomatoes mix the energy of hard rock with the groovy rhythm of funk. The band burst onto the music scene in 2019 with the EP ‘Make the Choice’, a work characterised by a combination of catchy melodies and powerful guitar riffs, which received excellent feedback from music critics. In 2021, the band released the single ‘Midnight Sky’ in collaboration with Alia, a track that captured attention with its interesting arrangement of Miley Cyrus’ pop hit. Currently, Smoking Tomatoes have just completed their new EP, a work that will offer new solutions and a massive, yet catchy sound. Concept: The influences that inspire and have constituted the musical references for the band are varied, ranging from the great hard rock bands to the more alternative ones (Ozzy, Extreme, Living Colour…). The sound is also influenced by genres like funky and blues. The lyrics are inspired by everyday life, often seen in an ironic light, with the aim to give to the listener all the energy needed to deal with it.
